Become The Best Version Of Yourself
by Olajumoke Champion
⭐️ Quote of Today
“The difference between how I feel before my first set in the gym and how I feel after my first set is enormous.
You don't even need a full workout (or work session, etc.) to feel good again. You are 5 minutes away from putting your day on a completely different trajectory.“
☀️ Good day! We are nearly halfway through the year… time flies. Make sure to stop and smell the roses. Today we are featuring a special article written by Olajumoke Champion for Little by Little.

⚡️Become The Best Version Of Yourself by Olajumoke Champion
🤔 What motivates you to become the best version of yourself ? My answer – The fear of being AVERAGE! Psychology may say that this is a narcissistic trait but my argument would be you live a happier, more content and fulfilled life when you show up daily as the best version of YOU.
🏅 Most people have a vision of what their best self looks like and most people know what to do to be the “Best Version” of themselves yet MOST people don’t do it!
🏁 To become the best version of ourselves, we need to show up for ourselves daily, there is no finish line.
💡 Here’s a quick reminder of the simple yet difficult things to do the best version of ourselves:
Have a High purpose 🙌
Follow your Purpose, not your passion! Find something that you are good at and merge it with your purpose. Your purpose will wake you up in the morning and pull you through when you are having a bad day. Remember without purpose it’s easy to be disheartened by a bad day but you will be annihilated by a bad month unless you have a PURPOSE.
Some questions to get you started on your purpose:
What meaningful experiences stand out to you and why?
What makes you feel / when do you feel like you?
What would you do if money wasn’t a limiting factor?
Who do you admire and why ?
What would you like your ideal work day, social life, financial life to look like?
Build self confidence 🦸♂️
Confidence is a muscle! You must continue to build it! Don’t ignore the small daily steps, be consistent. Feel the fear and do it anyway. The fear of sacrifice is better than the fear of regret and self-confidence will help you feel ready for life’s experiences.
When you are more confident you are more likely to move forward with opportunities and people.
Build and Maintain Character 🛠
Bad company corrupts good character! Be careful with the people you allow around you but more importantly hold yourself to a high standard. Don’t cheat or cut corners; be a person of high value, honesty, respect and integrity. Make sure your 5 closest friends are an embodiment of where you’re going or where you want to be.
Have A High Self-Image / Always be YOU 💁♀️
Ask yourself how do I want others to see me / how do I want to see myself ?
Then be delusional enough to show up as THAT person every day. If you have no vision of how you want to be seen you will be assigned one to live up to or follow. Take pride in your image and appearance, It’s good business to look good.
Have Self-Discipline and Be Self-Reliant 💪
Don’t neglect the small steps and make hard decisions now so you can benefit later. Hold yourself accountable, check in with yourself, and have success benchmarks.
Change the plan when things get hard, don’t give up. Motivation will get you started but discipline will keep you going.
Be Enthusiastic and Build Expertise 💯
Develop a burning desire for life and don’t settle for anything less than OUTSTANDING. Do the best you can every day, take the small steps and continue building your skills.
